Part Time Floater Teacher

Overview

The Floater teacher should be prepared to be with children from infant to 12 years old. This is often fast paced and fun. You will be asked to work with different staff and children in different the classrooms. An energetic, outgoing, positive attitude is important. Must be on time, available Monday through Friday from 7am-5:30pm. Reliable transportation is a must. We are a small team environment and really rely on every team member to get the job done well.

Responsibilities

  • Manage classroom activities and maintain a positive learning environment for students of various ages.
  • Develop and implement lesson plans that cater to diverse learning needs, including special education.
  • Foster effective communication with parents and staff regarding student progress and classroom dynamics.
  • Provide individualized support to students, focusing on early childhood education and behavior management.
  • Collaborate with other educators to enhance curriculum development and ensure a comprehensive educational experience.

As a Floater Teacher, you will be an essential part of our educational team, providing support across various classrooms and age groups. Reporting to the Director, your role involves managing classroom activities, implementing lesson plans, and fostering a nurturing environment for children. With core skills in early childhood education and classroom management, along with premium expertise in curriculum development and behavior management, you will help enhance the learning experience. Your communication skills and experience with diverse student needs will be vital in ensuring each child’s growth and development in our preschool setting.
