Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to fostering a positive learning environment for students of varying ages, particularly in early childhood education settings. This role requires creativity, patience, and the ability to engage students effectively while promoting their academic and social development. This is a float position. The candidate we are seeking should be flexible in schedule, comfortable moving from room to room, age to age and also possibly working at our Leavenworth location. We are only seeking a dependable candidate.
Duties
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that meet curriculum standards and cater to the diverse needs of students.
- Create a nurturing and stimulating classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning.
- Conduct assessments to monitor student progress and adapt teaching methods accordingly.
- Collaborate with colleagues to design and enhance curriculum development initiatives.
- Provide support for students requiring early intervention services, ensuring their individual needs are met.
- Foster literacy education through innovative teaching strategies that promote reading and writing skills.
- Incorporate physical education activities into daily routines to promote overall health and well-being.
- Maintain open communication with parents regarding student progress, behavior, and classroom activities.
Experience
- Proven experience working with students in a daycare or educational setting is preferred.
- Familiarity with toddler care practices and early childhood education principles is essential.
- Experience in lesson planning and curriculum development will be highly regarded.
- Knowledge of early intervention strategies is a plus, as well as experience in private school environments.
- A background in literacy education or physical education can enhance the effectiveness of teaching methods employed.
